Sinead and Dom's Wonderful Wedding in Belfast

Today we have the pleasure of sharing Sinead and Dom's fabulous wedding, which took place at the unique Crumlin Road Gaol, Belfast. Photographer team, Simple Tapestry, were on hand to capture their beautiful day.

Hollie from Rosehip and Berry, a beautiful floral studio, had helped Sinead decorate their wedding venue with gorgeous floral details that really brought the place to life. Blooms and foliage were used as table centrepieces and adorned on golden candelabras, and the mixture of flowers and greenery combined glamour with a pretty feminine feel.

Sinead and Dom opted for the Chevron Sequin Glitter Table Runners for their wedding reception, and they really added a touch of sparkle to their venue, fitting in perfectly with their wedding theme. The table runners looked wonderful with their golden calligraphy table names, and created an incredibly glamorous atmosphere for this happy couple's big day! The couple opted for a subtle golden colour scheme throughout their wedding day, and incorporated it into details such as their stationery and decor. You can buy or hire sequin glitter table runners from Magpie Linens, and there are a whole range of beautiful colours to choose from.

Their dessert table looked truly fabulous – especially with the addition of S & D light up letters to really make the table stand out. A gilded vintage frame detailed the wedding cake and gourmet doughnut flavours. If you want something a little different, a doughnut tower is always a fab alternative to a traditional wedding cake.

The couple were lucky enough to have General Fiasco as their wedding band for the evening, which was just the perfect finish to an amazing wedding day.

A Vintage Wedding with Extra Sparkle

Today we are sharing a beautiful, sunny wedding that took place in Sheffield. Happy couple, Marie and Duncan tied the knot in September 2015, at the stunning Mosborough Hall, a 12th century manor house. Nestled in the tranquil countryside, this wedding was an ultra glam affair with some serious sparkle!

Marie and Duncan opted for a vintage theme for their wedding day, with a colour scheme of classic cream and dusky pinks. Marie explains, “That’s why I wanted to hire the sequin table runners to add that extra sparkle to the day”. The happy couple hired our rose pink sequin table runners, which fitted in perfectly with their wedding theme. The couple’s gorgeous table décor looks beautiful with the pink sequin table runners and place settings. They definitely added a touch of glamour to their special day!

Marie was a particularly crafty bride, and made the majority of the wedding decorations herself! “It was a fairly big DIY wedding!” Marie made everything from the invitations to the DIY photo-booth and we must admit, we’re extremely impressed. A family friendly kindly donated some gorgeous vintage tea cups and sauces, which Marie added cream and pretty pink artificial roses to – this added to the overall ‘vintage’ feel of their big day and looked lovely with the pink sequin table runners.

This beautiful bride wore a show-stopping wedding gown, fit for a princess! She also accessorised with an incredibly cute, vintage umbrella – perfect for those all important wedding photographs. They used a vintage car as transport that complemented their big day perfectly.

We wish Marie and Duncan all the happiness for their future as a married couple. Thank you to photographer, Jill Robertson of Temporal Photography & Art for providing the images.

I was thrilled to see this styled shoot in the current issue of You & Your Wedding, featuring our champagne sequin tablecloth

Stylist Emma McDonald used a palette of gold and cream for a luxurious yet soft look, which is the perfect partner for our champagne sequin linen

Whilst the modern florals by Jay Archer contrasted beautifully against the grand surroundings, captured perfectly by Modern Vintage Photography

Every detail is just exquisite, from the cake to the stationery and the calligraphy place cards

"Time to drink champagne and dance on the table.."

Lydia and Steve

Today we are showcasing the jaw-dropping wedding of Lydia and Steve who got married in May of this year in Abbeyleix Church of the Most Holy Rosary, with their reception held in the spectacular Castle Durrow Co. Laois, Ireland. A seriously grand affair with a modern twist.

The couple at first weren’t sure on a colour scheme “When we first started wedding planning we were a little bemused by the idea of a theme!” but in the end they went for metallics contrasted with a beautiful dark teal.

We supplied the couple with table linen for their feature tables – our sequin champagne tablecloth adorned their Sweet tables, and our gold sequin tablecloth sparkled on the guest signing table (or guest globe in this case).

Lydia told us “I came across sequin cloths while on one of my many Pinterest hunts and knew that we had to have them for our feature tables. It was surprisingly difficult to source good quality cloths that weren't ridiculously expensive and I nearly gave up a couple of times until I came across Magpie Linens. Once I saw that I could hire the cloths I knew it was perfect!”

Silver also featured strongly in the wedding; Lydia’s dress had an applied silver diamante design across her waist and shoulders, and take a look at the back! Just stunning! Silver is also seen in the Groom’s tie and the enormous candelabras on the tables.

We love Lydia and Steve’s attention to detail with the pops of teal throughout.

“From start to finish it was so easy dealing with Magpie Linens and they were so helpful even offering advice on which colour/pattern would look best and sizes. Excellent customer service which is exactly what you need in the run up to your wedding day!”

A huge thank you to Lydia for supplying the images to us, copyright Mark Burton

We wish Lydia and Steve every success in their future together x
